Kate's New Hairdo

We put Kate in her highchair so we could fix her hair. She had a little ponytail with a bow. It was so cute.

Michelle's Birthday

This was Michelle opening her presents, her birthday was Friday after Thanksgiving, she is now 22. The guy next to her is Colby her boyfriend for 2 years, he will be graduating college this month from Texas State.

Lot's to be Thankful for!

had a great Thanksgiving, this year we had more family here. Wayne and Paula got to come to our house since they now live closer. I know they really miss the boys and their families and of course the grandkids. But we loved having them with us. Mom, Bill and Peewee were also here, and we all pulled together and brought food and had a blessed meal. Ethan and Kate kept everyone entertained, they are growing so fast. We took pictures outside and that was pretty interesting. But still we got some good pics. Hope you also had a good Thanksgiving.

5 k run

Saturday me, Tonya, and Michelle did a 5k run at near the rodeo in Mesquite, it was for the MISD Foundation. I say run but I walked and Michelle and Tonya ran and walked. It was really fun, and good time spent together. Michelle was in for a visit from Texas State afterwards we went to watch Ethan play his soccer game. He is doing great!!

The Pumpkin Patch

We visited the pumpkin patch on Friday, I met Priscilla, Tonya, Ethan and Kate there. It was a fun time Ethan picked out a pumpkin one for him and one for Kate. Then Ethan helped me pick one out for me. They have a maze so Ethan loves to run through it, then we enjoyed taking a few pictures.

Trip to Louisiana

I went to visit Wayne and Paula this weekend. It is so nice to be able to travel 4 hours and see them. They now live in Alexandria, LA. Wayne is working for the Louisiana Baptist Convention there. I got to go see his new office and spend time with them. We took a day trip to LaFayette to see a Cajun Festival it was lots of fun and music. We tasted the cajun food and enjoyed the music. Friday night we ate at Robbie G's which is seafood, I don't care much for seafood but like fried catfish and it was really good. Here are the pictures from the festival.

Ethan and Kate

We kept Ethan and Kate one week ago Saturday night and Sunday. We took them home after church and stopped at Wendy's for some take out first. They both went to bed after dinner they got up early and we had a great day. Kate is starting to crawl, and is growing so fast, Ethan went to the park with Pawpaw. We were having our computer worked on that day so it was a little busy. Here are a few pictures from that day.

Trip to San Marcos

We took a trip to visit Michelle this weekend. Me, Tonya and Priscilla. Michelle hadn't been able to come home for a while so we thought we would go see her and her new apartment. Friday after a long drive down Interstate 35 and slowly through Austin, we went to dinner with Michelle and Colby for some mexican foood, afterwards a movie at her apt. Then Saturday at lunch we went to a little town outside of San Marcos called Gruene, TX. we ate at Gristmill which is very close to the river where a lot of people tube ride. After lunch walked around the town to see all the little shops there. They also have a place called Gruene Hall which is oldest operating dance hall in the State of Texas. After shopping most of the day, went back to the apt and ordered pizza and watch another movie. We got to meet Colby's new puppy Marley, she is cute.
